It was May 18th, when it happened. I knew something was wrong… I just couldn't put my finger on it. All day just felt weird to me.
I had just got done doing the dishes from supper, when there was a knock on the door. I being the only parent in the house, since Drew was in the war, answered the door. I look down at my younger brother. I knew this day would come… But I didn't expect it this soon. It all happened so fast, we where watching his favorite movie when all of a sudden he couldn't breath. I drove him to the hospital where I paced back and forth in the waiting room, which stunk of cleaning supplies and latex gloves.
